Training is every Thursday at 4 P.M. and Saturday at 8 A.M.

At the Marysville Schutzhund Club we welcome all working breeds and members of GSDCA - WDA, DVG, & Schutzhund USA.

At our club we enjoy a social atmosphere with positive reinforcement for both the dog and the handler. Our Club was formed in 2003 by Thomas Sauerhoefer.

At the Marysville Schutzhund Club we train in all 3 Phases of the Schutzhund. We begin with Tracking, then Obedience and Protection. Thomas Specializes in dogs with No Out and Dogs with a weak Bite. We have both Show and Working Line GSD's, Pit Bulls, Doberman's, Belgian Malinois and Rottweilers at our club. Our Club members range in a wide variety of age and experience, so whether you are new to the sport or have been enjoying Schutzhund for a while, chances are we have a member that is in a similiar situation.

At our Club everyone gets the same amount of attention and help from the Trainer. We focus on working the dog and the handler to the best of their ability without any political tension. Thomas Sauerhoefer is the President and Training Director for the Marysville Schutzhund Club. Thomas came over to the United States from Germany about 10 years ago. He has over 27 years of experience as a Trainer, Helper, Competitor, and Breeder. In the more than 27 years Thomas has been in the sport of Schutzhund he has put over 350 titles on dogs in both Germany and the United States.
